3D Nonogram privacy policy What the game does and does not collect, and which Google services are involved.
This policy explains how the game 3D Nonogram (‘the App’), published by BetuWorks (‘we’, ‘us’), handles information.
1. In short
- The game runs on your device. There is no account and no game server.
- We do not collect your name, email address, contacts or precise location.
- The App shows no ads and does not use an advertising ID.
- We use Google's crash reporting and analytics to find bugs and see which levels players get stuck on.
- If you sign in to Google Play Games, your achievements and a backup of your progress go to your own Play Games account.
- We do not sell your information.
2. What stays on your device
Your progress, stars and best times, the puzzle you left half finished, your settings, the levels you build, and the levels friends send you are stored on your device only. We never receive them. Uninstalling the App deletes them, and we cannot recover them for you (unless they are backed up to Play Games, see Section 4).
3. Crash reports and analytics (Firebase)
The App uses Firebase Crashlytics and Google Analytics for Firebase, both Google services. They may collect:
- crash reports (what the App was doing when it crashed);
- game events, such as a level being started, solved or left, hints used and load times;
- device information (model, Android version, language, App version) and a random installation ID that is not linked to your name;
- an approximate location (such as your country or city), which Google works out from your IP address. The full IP address is not stored.
We use this only in aggregate, to fix crashes and to make the puzzles and the App better. Google's privacy information: firebase.google.com/support/privacy and policies.google.com/privacy.
4. Google Play Games
On Android the App can use Google Play Games Services. Whether you are signed in is controlled by your Play Games account settings. If you are not signed in, nothing in this section applies and the game works normally.
While you are signed in:
- Google gives the App your Play Games player ID, display name and avatar, used only to show you in the game.
- The App unlocks your achievements and, where the App has them, submits your leaderboard scores. These may be visible to other players according to your Play Games profile settings.
- The App may back up your game progress to your own Play Games saved-game storage, so it survives a new phone. It contains game data only: no name, email, contacts or payment details.
This data is held by Google, not by us; we never receive a copy. To stop it, sign out of Play Games. To delete it, use the Google Play Games app (Settings → Delete Play Games account and data, or delete this game's data).
5. Purchases
If the App offers purchases (for example extra puzzle packs), they are handled by Google Play Billing. We never see your payment details; we only learn that a purchase was made, so the App can unlock it.
6. Sharing levels
You can turn a level you built into a code and send it to friends yourself, through any chat or messaging app you choose. The code contains only the level, nothing about you. The App never uploads it anywhere. The App reads your clipboard only when you press Paste code.
7. Who receives data
Only Google, as the provider of the services above, and others where the law requires it. Google may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Your rights (EEA / UK)
We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the App working and improving it. You may ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing, by emailing us. Because we hold no data that identifies you, most requests are best handled through Google's own privacy tools.
9. Children
The App is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, for example when a new service is added, we will update this page and the date at the top.
