BetuWorks builds thoughtful, privacy-respecting mobile apps — tools and games made to do one thing well, without the dark patterns.

Every app here began as something that needed to exist in one household, and shipped only once it was genuinely good. Two are on Google Play today. The third is still on the bench.

DinnerFlow

Plan dinner, skip the stress

Household meal planning, recipe storage, and grocery lists that build themselves. Import a recipe from any website, a photograph of a cookbook page, or pasted text; plan a week on the calendar; then let the app aggregate every ingredient into one list, combining duplicates and converting units as it goes.

It is local-first: the database on your phone is always the source of truth, so it works with no signal at all. Sync and a shared household library are there when you want them. A home-screen widget answers the only question that really matters.

Tents & Trees

A calm offline logic puzzle

Pair every tree with exactly one tent, keep tents from touching, and satisfy the counts along each edge. Four hundred hand-tuned puzzles run from gentle 5×5 grids to 11×11 boards that take real work, alongside daily challenges, an endless Zen mode, Time Attack and a survival ladder.

Every puzzle is generated with a guaranteed single solution and checked by a solver that uses only human deduction techniques — so you are never asked to guess, and the difficulty labels mean something. Generation, solving and saving all happen on the device. It plays on a plane.

Even Out

Balanced chores, shared fairly

A household task manager that assigns chores by fairness rather than guesswork. Each person's contribution is tracked against the share they actually signed up for, and work flows to whoever is furthest below their own target.

No points, no streaks, no leaderboard — the aim is to end the argument about who does what, not to turn the washing-up into a competition. Still being built.

Built by one person who actually uses these apps.

BetuWorks is run by a single developer. There is no growth team, no investor pressure, and no advertising business hiding behind the products. Each app started as something that ought to have existed already, and got built because nothing on the shelf did the job properly.

Small, focused apps — and a real commitment to keeping your data yours.

That shapes the technical decisions more than anything else. Work happens on the device wherever it reasonably can: DinnerFlow treats the phone's own database as the source of truth and syncs only when asked, and Tents & Trees generates and solves every puzzle locally with no gameplay server at all. Where an app carries ads, they fund the work and nothing further.

The intention is quiet, maintained software — not the next thing chasing your attention.
