Tents & Trees terms of service The terms you agree to by installing and playing the game.

1. The App

Tents & Trees is a single-player logic puzzle game. Gameplay runs on your device and does not require an account. We may add, change, or remove features (game modes, themes, rewards, ads, purchases, and online services) over time.

2. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial entertainment, in accordance with these Terms and the rules of the app store you obtained it from (for example, Google Play). All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the App, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
• Distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security, ads, purchase, or licensing features.
• Use the App in any unlawful way or in violation of the app store's terms.

4. Ads

The App may display advertising provided by Google AdMob and its partners. Ad content originates from third parties; we are not responsible for it. Your use of ads and any data processing is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Google's terms. A paid ‘Remove Ads’ option (Section 5) disables interstitial ads.

Ads, and the sections referring to them, apply only to versions of the App that include advertising.

5. In-app purchases

The App may offer in-app purchases, including a non-consumable ‘Remove Ads’ product.

• Purchases are processed and billed by Google Play under Google's terms; we do not process your payment details.
• A non-consumable purchase (such as ‘Remove Ads’) unlocks an entitlement tied to your Google account and can be restored on your devices via Google Play.
• ‘Remove Ads’ removes interstitial advertising. Optional, player-initiated rewarded features (such as watching an ad for an extra hint) may remain available.
• Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy and applicable consumer law. Contact Google Play for purchase and refund support; contact us for help with an entitlement that does not unlock or restore correctly.

6. Virtual items and progress

In-app rewards, cosmetics, unlocks, streaks, and progress have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be changed or reset as the App evolves. On-device progress is stored locally and may be lost if you uninstall the App, clear its data, or change devices.

If you are signed in to Google Play Games, your progress is also backed up to your own Play Games saved-game storage, which can restore it on a new device. That copy is held by Google rather than by us, and we cannot read or recover it. Section 2.7 of the Privacy Policy sets out what it contains and how to delete it.

7. Third-party services

The App uses third-party services including Google AdMob, Firebase Crashlytics, Google Analytics for Firebase, Google Play Billing, Google Play services, and Google Play Games Services. Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services and do not control them.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains what information is processed and your choices.

9. Disclaimers

In short: the App is provided ‘as is’.

The App is provided ‘as is’ and ‘as available’, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BetuWorks will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim or USD 10. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including your statutory consumer rights).

11. Updates and availability

We may update, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. App updates may be required for continued use. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

12. Termination

These Terms apply until terminated. The license ends automatically if you breach these Terms; you may end it by uninstalling the App. Sections that by their nature should survive (for example, 6, 9, 10, and 13) survive termination.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence. Disputes will be subject to the competent courts of the Netherlands, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms as the App evolves. The current version is posted at the URL above with an updated ‘Last updated’ date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
